Brand strategy, logo and collateral design: Bike the Greenway
Steven Derse, master mind behind Bike The Greenway, came to us with his idea of making bicycles accessible to all people who want to bike on Nashville’s greenways, but aren’t able (or don’t want) to schlepp their own bikes out. For this venture, Steven (who has a deep business background) knew he needed at minimum a new logo and leave-behind, but because this was a startup operation on a shoestring budget, he had to be smart about the marketing pieces.
Why We Love This Project
Nashville’s greenways initiative began in 1991, when then-Mayor Phil Bredesen and the Metro Council created the Greenways Commission as a division of Metro Parks to plan and develop a greenway system of trails and open spaces throughout Davidson County. The greenways of Nashville offer tangible quality-of-life amenities that residents enjoy and appreciate and are also good for the environment. They preserve riparian zones (i.e., wetlands and riverbanks), they help to clean our water and air through the conservation of sensitive areas such as flood plains and forests.
Greenways = Good stuff
Brand research and strategy (audience research, color research, brand personality, etc), logo design, copy editing, rack card/brochure design, typography, map design, bike sticker design, print brokering.
When approaching Pam with my recent business idea, she was able to create a stunning, forward-leaning logo which perfectly matches the personality of the new venture.
“The approach is professional and the process well laid out, thus eliminating any guesswork or surprises.
“I am pleased to say that I have used Pam’s services over the last 15 years for various marketing services, and will continue to do so into the future!”
