About this Project
Every year, Watkins College of Art, Design & Film holds an art show and competition for its students. During my time there, I entered this piece.
I will never forget the process of finishing this illustration, because our oldest daughter was just four months old and I was constantly going back and forth from drawing the still life to holding and tending to her. Finishing this piece was truly a feat, so the fact that I won First Place made it just that much more sweet.
